Bossar take FFS machines to PACK EXPO Las Vegas

BOSSAR Group will showcase its form fill and seal machines with full-servo control at PACK EXPO Las Vegas. The company is eager to share the new benefits of its equipment that will be on display at booth C-2828 in the Central Hall.  

Supported by new technology, the FFS machines consume less energy and offer quick format change-over with reduced film waste. Furthermore, they feature easy access to interface and mechanical and electrical assemblies. Since the excess energy is sent back to the electrical network, there is no energy loss.

Vertical FFS machine

They feature detectors and sensors for automatic film alignment, auto-correction of vertical and horizontal seal width, correct fitment positioning control, optical fibers to guarantee the perfect opening of the pouch.

The touch screens show 3-D drawings that provide performance information in real time.

They manufacture perfectly sealed, no leak, pre-made quality pouches.

When compared to traditional mechanical machines, these FFS equipment offers higher performance and added value for customers, the company said.

Horizontal FFS machine

BC 260 for high speed packaging

In particular, BC 260 model is a vertical FFS with full servo driven continuous motion. It has been designed for high speed and efficient packaging with gentle product handling. This model features a two axis servo cross seal station, small footprint, an open frame for easier access and maintenance, and quick size changeover. Its modular design allows for easy future conversions and upgrades. It can produce several packaging styles with a maximum flat bag width of 260 mm and output of up to 150 ppm.

BMS 2.4 horizonal FFS machine for fruit puree

The BMS 2.4 is a full servo driven duplex horizontal form fill and seal machine that can produce pouches for 90 grams of fruit puree in a stand-up pouch of 85 x 130 x (25+25) mm. with choke proof cap insertion. It performs at a speed of 120-130 ppm and is equipped with 2 flowmeters.
