AN impressive line-up of exhibits marks A.B. Tech Expo and A.B. Tech Pizza Expo (23-27 October), the international shows dedicated to technology and products for bakery, pastry, confectionery, fresh pasta and pizza. To take place at the futuristic fair centre fieramilano (Rho), the event is a unique opportunity for a first-hand appraisal of exhibits rolled out by the world's foremost makers of machinery, installations and ovens, ingredients, furnishings machinery and products for packing and packaging. Amongst the sectors to watch: The Bakery Central Workshop, in co-operation with Assipan- Confcommercio(Italian Baker's Association), offers new ideas to refit production facilities and try out the yield of machinery, ovens and ingredients. The Chocolate Championship Interregional Trophy, promoted by Barry Callebaut, features chocolate and pastry makers who will demonstrate their skills and expertise. The Pizza Central Workshop, co-ordinated by Master Renato Andrenelli and designed in co-operation with producers of ingredients and ovens, feature srenowned pizza makers who will alternate live demos and samplings.
