Bright coloring for food and pet food products

The HOMBITAN® FG, a pure white material, is for coloring food as well as pet food. Dispersible in aqueous solutions, it also ideal for beverages.

HOMBITAN® AFDC with it high opacity and warm undertone, has a wider range of applications that not only includes food and pet food, but pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as well. The product is also dispersible in aqueous solutions.

The standard of whiteness complies with several regulations including E171 food colorant 94/45/EC, FDA 21 CFR 73.576, Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives, the Food Chemical Codex; EP, USP, and JP Pharmacopoeias. In terms of quality standards, the products meet Halal, Kosher, FSSC 22 000, ISO 18001:2007; ISO 9001: 2008; ISO 14001: 2004; Ecocert, EVIRA Finnish Food Safety Authority, Registration as Feedstuff.

According to Reiner Mertscheit, sales and marketing director CPF, HOMBITAN® does not affect the overall quality of products since they have no taste and odor. They don’t add calories to products either.
