BEAUTY and personal care sales in the Philippines are rising on the back of stable growth and rising disposable incomes. Ever-changing trends and advances have led global brands to open outlets in major cities and key local cosmetics companies have experienced double-digit growth rates. The increased demand for personal care products and services among both male and female customers is not expected to slow and analysts forecast the market to be worth USD 3.4 billion (PHP 139.8 billion) by 2016.
This optimism is reflected in PhilBeauty 2015, which expects to host more than 200 key leading exhibitors from across 26 countries and regions, including mainland China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia. The three-day event, the only one of its kind in the country, will be held July 8 to 10 at the SMX Convention Centre in Pasay City.

With continued growth and positive feedback over the year, Philbeauty 2015 is shaping up to be an inspirational platform with an international beauty conference, live demonstrations and on-stage events in addition to products and innovations in the exhibition stands.
Surveys conducted among exhibitors and visitors in the last edition indicated an optimistic response.
On the exhibitor side, a whopping 96% of respondents rated the show successful while 82% noted their expectations were met or exceeded.
PhilBeauty is just one of 50 events organized by UBM Asia in Southeast Asia.
