PLASTICS VIETNAM is the initiative of VIETNAM PLASTICS ASSOCIATION and ENTERPRISING FAIRS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, INDIA. Vietnam Plastics Market is one of the fastest growing markets in SOUTH EAST ASIA. At 4.2 million tonnes per annum VIETNAM market is the second largest market after Thailand in South East Asia. Besides a growing demand from the domestic market, our exports are worthy of its size. Plastics processing is raw material intensive. Besides the material cost next major element is the power. So the industry constantly needs to update and adopt efficient manufacturing practices to keep the production costs low. Higher outputs, lower operating costs are the need of the hour. Only these aspects can help VIETNAM maintain its place in the export market. Developments are also rapid in the processing machinery side. Additives and Master batches industry help in improving the performance of the materials. The Ancillary equipment industry facilitates keeping costs low. New and higher output Mould Designs help in substantial increase in the output. The printing, decorating and converting industry keeps pace with the expectations of the packaging industry and current trends. Besides all these, the recycling of plastics is a huge responsibility on the plastics industry.
Where do we get updates on all these sectors of the plastics industry? Only an EXHIBITION can act as a one source platform. EXHIBITIONS stimulate growth, help in disseminating knowledge to the processors and showcase current trends and developments in processing technology and materials. In fact, EXHIBITIONS play a strong catalytic role in the growth of the plastics industry. The popularity of K FAIR and CHINA PLAST are a testimony to the above fact but then how many of our plastics processors visit these fairs help outside VIETNAM. A very small percentage only visits these expos. A large portion of the plastics processors don’t get to visit these expos. SO THE NEED IS to organise an exhibition by the industry for the industry at our doorsteps. Only an Association which represents the interest of the industry can understand and meet the expectations. SO VIETNAM PLASTICS ASSOCIASTION is now ready from now on to fulfil this expectation. So the birth of PLASTICS VIETNAM (www.Plastics-vietnam.in).
