Calcium-rich soy protein

CALCIUM and protein enrichment of beverages has been simplified with an isolated soy protein recently launched by Solbar at the IFT Food Expo in Chicago. Solpro 735, for use in a wide range of beverage applications, contains an ideal balance of essential amino acids and is calcium fortified.

The product is of cr鑝e/off-white colour and with bland flavour profile maintaining low viscosity. Dispersible even in cold water, it requires minimal preparation time and is easy to use in dry beverage blends (DBB) and other powdered drinks to be reconstituted with water and or juice prior to consumption. Solpro 735 can be used in RTD beverages as well as those that are UHT processed. Major applications are for calcium fortified soymilk and other soy beverages.
