Cama presents Delta Triaflex Robotic Loading Unit at ProPak Asia

CAMA 1 S.p.A. will display the Delta Triaflex Robotic Loading Unit, which features artificial vision system and automatic recognition of the various products, like cookies, candy and other food items whether with wrapper or none.   

The Cama “Triaflex” Delta robot loading unit can pick the products from the belt, as required, and place them precisely in the proper tray, lug or article bucket. The robots can be guided by an artificial vision system which guarantees automatic recognition of the various products according to their type. The products are then conveyed to the different robots, to be loaded either in their final package or into the infeed of another packaging machine.

The system uses one single axis control. It manages up to four 4-axis robots (16 in total) +2 more service axis. Other systems available require every single robot to be equipped with its own axis controller to allow communication between the single robotic units and the “part-counter” system (intelligent system of product counting and distribution to the other robots).
