The Emirates Industry for Camel Milk and Products (EICMP), a manufacturer of camel milk from Dubai, is scheduled to ship its products to Europe this July, according to a report in The National. The first trial orders are from Denmark, the Netherlands, and Austria.
In an exclusive interview with Ringier last year, the company’s vice general manager Mutasher Al Badry explained the numerous benefits of camel milk, one of which is its similarities to mother’s milk in terms of composition and characteristics.
Enticing new markets with the ‘Camelicious’ brand, the company conforms to high standards with a facility that is the largest and most advanced for camel milk in the world. New product lines, including cheese and instant camel milk powder, are in the pipeline and future efforts will be focused on long-life products using the latest preservative-free methods with an eye towards reaching markets in North America and Asia.
EICMP is even working closely with leading French beauty manufacturers for use of powdered camel milk in anti-aging cosmetics and regimens after initial researches and experimental products showed promising results.
