Carton bottle for Sunstar

ZARIN Jam Marina, a beverage manufacturer based in Kaveh Industrial City in Iran, has launched 21 varieties of its popular SunStar beverages in combidome, the carton bottle from SIG Combibloc.  This packaging, including the closure, is manufactured entirely from a cardboard composite – from its base right up to the characteristic dome that gives the carton its special shape.

With the new packaging, the beverage company has made a statement in the Middle East/Africa (MEA) region where, product protection, economic considerations, as well as differentiation and convenience are important to beverage packaging.

The SunStar’ beverages in combidome come in the following flavors: Apple, Orange Juice, Green Cocktail, Green Apple, Sour Cherry, Pomegranate, Pineapple, Peach, Mango, Orange Nectar, Lemonade, Orange/Mango, Orange/Carrot, Apple/Banana, Tropical, Grape, Apricot, Blood Orange, Fruit Cocktail, Melon Mix and Mojito.

An old partner

Marina was one of the first customers in the world to use the drinksplus technology from SIG Combibloc to bring out innovative juice drinks containing real fruit pieces in aseptic carton packs. In high-speed filling technology, Marina is a pioneer and very well-equipped. Two CFA 124 high-speed filling machines from SIG Combibloc for filling combiblocMini are in operation at the company’s factory. These machines can fill 24,000 carton packs per hour.
