IRVINE, CA – Links Medical Products Inc. (LMP) said the company's management system has been certified with Medical Device Directive (MDD) 93/42/EEC, ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008, which will enable LMP to use appropriate CE marking on its Manuka honey-based wound care products.

The CE0120 mark also allows the company to market its products in the European Union and facilitate acceptance of its products in markets outside the EU. This is mandatory for specific product groups in the European Economic Area (EEA) consisting of the members of the EU and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
