MICHAEL Ceranski, 47, has been named senior vice president of BASF's Global Business Unit Human Nutrition, located in Lampertheim, Germany, replacing Dr Massimo Armada, who elected to leave the company December 31, 2011 to take over new responsibilities.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr Ceranski was vice president, Business Management Crop Protection Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux. He first joined BASF after completing his studies in business administration at the University of Cologne, Germany. He has over 20 years' experience in various sales and marketing positions and as managing director in the agro and nutrition sector, both in Germany and internationally.
