CFO at GEA Mechanical Equipment named

DR Michael Bauer will assume responsibility as chief financial officer in the newly created segment GEA Mechanical Equipment. He will thus bear commercial responsibility for the business units Flow Components (GEA Tuchenhagen, B點hen, Germany), Homogenisers (GEA Niro Soavi, Parma, Italy) and Mechanical Separation (GEA Westfalia Separator, Oelde, Germany). Dr Bauer, 42, wishes to bring his know how and experience to finance and organisation in order to have a positive impact on the sales and results of the new segment. As a result of his studies at the university in Witten/Herdecke and in the USA, his doctorate at the university in Eichstätt combined with practical experience in various management positions of the GEA Group, Dr. Bauer has the necessary background for ensuring that the new segment GEA Mechanical Equipment will be kept on course for success even in difficult times.(the end)Best Seller
