Chewable tablet combines probiotics and vitamin C

Probiotic experts from Chr. Hansen will be in place when the doors open to this year’s Vitafoods Europe on May 22. The company’s entire probiotic range will be on display, including a brand new chewable tablet combining probiotics and vitamin C.

“We are bringing our complete portfolio of probiotic solutions with documented effect to Vitafoods Europe so there will be interesting offerings to see for dietary supplement producers, pharmaceutical companies or manufacturers of infant formula,” promises Charlotte Beyerholm, marketing manager, Human Health & Nutrition.

“In particular, we are looking forward to showcase our new combination product. Our application expertise includes an extensive technology platform that makes it possible to combine probiotics with other ingredients. Our new probiotic chewable tablet combines Lactobacillus L. casei 431? and vitamin C and is an ideal combination for immune support,” Ms Beyerholm said.

Overcoming application challenges
On May 23, Chr. Hansen will be hosting a Supplier Seminar focusing on the application challenges of probiotics. At the seminar, Chr. Hansen will share its extensive application experience and cover subjects such as stability, dosage forms and ingredient combinations.
