China BevTek showcases solutions for drinks industry

CHINA BEVTEK, held at the same as ProPak China, will showcase liquids and beverage processing industry, the latest equipment and technology. At the specialist BevTek section of the exhibition, visitors from all liquid product manufacturers from dairy to soft drinks, fruit juices to beers and more will find the latest equipment and packaging ideas that will save them time and money in the production of their products and final deliver to customers. 
New regulations recently announced for packaging standards in China, require alcoholic drinks packaging not to have more than 55% vacant space in their packaging, affecting both secondary and primary packaging. One direct impact of the new regulation is that alcoholic drinks makers will focus on efficient packaging, with small packaging taking into consider function, look and cost. It is expected that more light-weight, eco-friendly materials will be used to make secondary packaging solutions.

Companies will also focus more on primary packaging solutions and reduce unnecessary secondary packaging to get the total packaging cost down to 20 per cent.
