Macau is renowned not only for its world-leading casino & gambling industry, but also for the notable development of tourism, convention, catering and culture.  It is no wonder then that with great support from China’s central government, the third edition of China Catering Expo will be held in Macau from 21-23 September 2012 as the most significant platform for the catering industry in Asia, as well as in the entire world.

The 3^rd China Catering Expo (CCE) is organised by Ministry of Commerce of China.  Previous editions of the event were held in Chengdu and Xi’an.

Aiming to stimulate communication with the international catering industry starting from this edition, the Ministry of Commerce is this year collaborating with Secretariat for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government. The choice of Macau is based on the SAR’s highly developed tourism and leisure infrastructure, high traffic of tourists number 30 million annually, unique food & beverage offerings, and position as an optimum business platform as best networking region for both the Chinese and overseas catering industries.

To create favourable business opportunities for operators and suppliers of this industry, which are mainly SMEs, the Chinese government and Macau officials will these enterprises with substantial financial support and favourable policies. 

By investing governmental efforts in the catering industry, an optimal business environment and opportunity will thus be created.  During the exhibition, exhibitors can conduct comprehensive marketing and promotion through trade, investment, technology exchange and on-site sales.

World-class catering event in Asia

It is highly anticipated that 3rd CCE will be the largest professional exhibition themed on catering industry in Asia. The scale is impressive, boasting of a total exhibition space of approx 35,000sq.m.

Nearly 1,000 corporations and industry heads from more than 30 provinces and cities in China have signed up for the event.  And of course the event will also have participants from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as other countries from the entire Asia Pacific region and other parts of the world.
