Netstal will be presenting its widely recognised systems and applications expertise for the Chinese market at Chinaplas 2014 in Shanghai (April 23 to 26, Hall E1, Stand K41) with applications for various branches of industry, high-quality injection molding machines and a comprehensive range of services.
Netstal is also enjoying success in China with its product and innovative offensive, which was launched back in autumn 2013. There is growing demand on the Chinese market for the PET-LINE 2400, PET-LINE 4000 and ELION 4200 in particular. "Thanks to the expansion of the ELION range to include the 4200 kN clamping force, customers in China can now carry out all closure applications at maximum energy efficiency and with top output guaranteed," said David Tso, sales manager for Netstal brand machines in China. "Customers are recognising that the new PET-LINE gives them a competitive advantage in their highly competitive market." Both product lines are characterised by low power consumption, high precision and short cycle times, which are increasingly important factors for Chinese customers who want to enjoy long-term success on the local market. In addition, the PET-LINE has an impressive space-saving and compact design. "Our new products are helping us meet growing local demand for high-quality machines with widely recognized high European engineering know-how," emphasized Tso proudly.
High level of expertise in the caps and closures sector
The caps and closures sector is a particularly well-suited addition to the PET business in China. As demand for custom caps and closures rises, Netstal machines are ideal choice due to their precision and speed, combining maximum output at minimum unit cost with all the design and quality advantages of injection moulding. "Furthermore, we are seeing growing potential for in-mold labeling (IML) technology in the Asian packaging market. It's right here that precision and speed are essential and, as the global market leader for high-speed IML systems, Netstal is very well-positioned," explained Tso.
Netstal is also gaining ground in the Chinese medical technology sector: thanks to the all-electric ELION series, it is perfect for the manufacture of clean room components. "With well over 300 systems installed for PET preforms, closures and packaging parts, we have a wide customer base and extensive knowledge of market requirements. We will use this to continue to grow in China with our comprehensive product and service portfolio," said Tso.
Open house at Haiyan plant during Chinaplas
The KraussMaffei Group is also continuing to tactically improve its strategic position on the Asian market with the expansion of production at its Chinese plant in Haiyan. As part of an open house event (April 23 to 25 2014) to coincide with the opening of the extension to the plant, customers and visitors to Chinaplas will have the opportunity to see the high performance and innovation of the KraussMaffei Group and its KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal brands for themselves.
