CHINAPLAS: BASF shows fridge of the future

BASF will showcase the advanced and innovative concept fridge – coolpure 1.1 – during Chinaplas 2013.

The company’s booth located at Hall 11.2, booth A41 presents coolpure 1.1 concept fridge which combines innovative materials and functionality with zeitgeist and the use of sustainable materials, giving new impetus for appliance industries.

The concept fridge is made of 10 different polyurethane materials that demonstrate the products‘ versatility and diverse fields of application. Transcending the bounds of pure insulation, coolpure 1.1 will help inspire refrigerator manufacturers to develop new approaches.

BASF will also host more than 1,000 customer discussions in a collaborative space during the exhibition. The discussions will center on creating chemistry that leads to great innovations. BASF, together with representatives from industries such as automotive, electronic & electric, household and consumer products and waste management, as well as the plastics industry, will work together to find solutions that can help customers meet their sustainability goals.
