CHINAPLAS: Latest mould technologies at the Hong Kong Pavilion

The 600sqm “Hong Kong Pavilion” is located at the Die & Mould Zone, Hall 3.2 and features the industry’s technological capabilities through a series of “Made in Hong Kong” mechanics, mould components and products.

Supported by the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales of Trade and Industry Department, Federation of Hong Kong Industries and Hong Kong Mould & Die Council jointly set up a 600sqm “Hong Kong Pavilion” at the Die & Mould Zone in ChinaPlas 2013 to demonstrate the industry’s technological capabilities through a series of “Made in Hong Kong” mechanics, mould components and products.

 

The opening ceremony of Hong Kong Pavilion will be held on 20 May at 11:00am, with the Acting Director General of Trade and Industry Department Mr Brian Lo, JP, as the Guest of Honour.

 

Located at Hall 3.2, the “Hong Kong Pavilion”, with the theme “High Productivity Driven by High Performance Mould and Advanced Technology”, consists of a Hong Kong Gallery and 14 exhibitors from Hong Kong leading mould enterprises. A diversified series of “Made in Hong Kong” technologies and products embracing creativity and innovation will be showcased in the “Hong Kong Pavilion”; not only mechanics, mould components and products will be presented, but also the highlights of the Pavilion – the mould machines demonstration workshop displaying the Top Gun - 24+24 cavities high precision 2 colors Spin Cube mould, Tandem mould, Mould finishing machined by 24000 rpm high speed machine, Coordinate Advance Milling and Drilling Machine, Multi-component Magnifier Injection Processing etc. It will be a popular draw for visitors who want to know the whole mould making process including mould manufacturing, injection, inspection system and relevant techniques. It is expected the visitors will be impressed by “Made in Hong Kong” moulds and the pavilion will be definitely an ideal platform for industry players to develop networks and explore business collaboration.

 

Meanwhile, in order to highlight the fast development of mould and die industry, a time tunnel will be set up at the Hong Kong Gallery to show visitors the changes of mould components, mould products and factories since the 70s, to enable them to better understand the excellence of the industry. During the fair, experts from the industry will answer visitors’ enquiries and exchange information with them proactively.
