LEADING natural colours producer, Chr. Hansen, has extended and modernised its colour expertise centre in Montpellier, France. The ‘Global Colour Expertise Centre’ for international customer innovation will focus on new, natural appearances within beverages, dairy, fruit preparations and phytonutrients, four of the Danish ingredients company’s key industries in the colour business.
"Everything indicates that the current trend of converting from synthetic to natural colours in the global food industry will continue. At the same time we are observing increasingly sophisticated requirements from our customers," says Luc Ganivet, Business Development director, Colours & Blends Division.
Apart from Montpellier, Chr. Hansen has a 'Global Colour Expertise Centre' in its Danish headquarters in Hoersholm, which focuses on colour solutions for the confectionery and ice cream industries.
