ChromaDex launches co-crystal ingredient with caffeine

IRVINE, California – PURENERGY from ChromaDex Corporation is being marketed as a better alternative to caffeine. It is a patented co-crystal ingredient comprised of caffeine and the company's patented pTeroPure pterostilbene that forms a unique crystalline structure. Laboratory tests show the product to provide sustained energy and alertness with more gradual finish, which prevents the so-called ‘crash’ experienced by consumers of caffeinated products. The formulation purportedly has benefits to cognitive function, antioxidant activity, heart health and weight management support.
