CIMT 2013: Renishaw continues to display its innovations

Chris Pockett, Head of Communications, said Renishaw established its office in 1993 in Hong Kong. The office is still a headquarters in Asia Pacific. Renishaw then set its office in 1994 in Beijing. For the past 20 years, the staff size of the company in China has growth from a few to hundreds and the contribution to the global revenue reached 19% of total.

Chris continued, China is a huge market. And now more and more Chinese manufacturers are aware of the importance and use of measurement and calibration at the machining process. They require tools to ensure steps of machining process accurately and that is exactly what our products do. In the coming 20 years China will be equally exciting. Because of incentives of the China government policy and the global economic recovery, the Chinese manufacturers upgrade their products and so they need better measurement tools. We are very serious about the CIMT as senior management, including our chief executive, is also attending the show.
