Schaublin manufactures high end clamping systems. Schaublin introduces its latest collet at the show. The collet has been in China for a year and its sale is growing fast. For the past few years, electronic and IT sectors in China have required tons of mold die. Chinese manufacturers look for precise machines and so they require high quality tools and collets. According to Michel Pfeiffer, Senior Account Manager, the sale volume of Schaublin collets in China has doubled. But the company has no intention to build a production base in China but it plans to increase its distributors and agents there. Michel said, we set an office in Shanghai so that we can closely serve OEM clients and manage distributors. We will increase our agents since China is a huge market. We look for long partnership, like Everbright who has been cooperating with us for over 10 years.
