The 13th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT 2013) wraps up a successful six day show. More than 1200 exhibitors took part in the 13th CIMT which welcomed more than 265,600 visitors from manufacturing industries, foreign trade companies and distributors from around the world.

Looking for a technology breakthrough

In 2012 manufactures, poor sales of low end machinery, high end machinery heavily replied upon imports. External case and other accessories made in China, core components are imported. High end machinery made in China is still far behind those that general machinery imported.

According to Mr. ZuXiao Huang, Senior Consultant, China Machine Tool Industry Association &Professor of Beijing Machine Tool Research Center, China machine tool builders should be: Green technology oriented, diversify its markets and upgrade its managements.

The 2013 China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), sponsored and organized by China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA), took place from 22nd to 27th April in Beijing, China. It is the largest and most influential machine tool show in China, and is recognised as one of the four largest international machine tool shows in the world.
