Skin care formulators are getting challenged to new levels as "alphabet" skin care products continue to entice consumers.

Recently following mass brand such as Olay and Hard Candy debuting CC creams, Clinique is now said to be storming the prestige marketplace with its own CC SKU.

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($35) will bow in April, according to reports. Translucent lavender optics are said to correct a variety of skin issues, as well as vitamin E.

The product will be available in six shades.
