To ensure it delivers the highest quality service and technology to customers, CMB Engineering a leading provider of canmaking machinery, has created a Head of Quality role within its organisational structure. Alan Grogan has been appointed to the role to focus on optimising the current business systems utilising an integrated management approach and implementing tools designed to meet the needs of customers and employees.

Alan’s work will be a core component of delivering on that promise.”
Alan brings a well-rounded set of skills and experience to CMB Engineering, having worked in a variety of industries during his career. He began working on the shop floor of LG Philips Displays developing experience in Process and Project Engineering whilst simultaneously obtaining his degree in Quality Management from the University of Salford. This led to more senior roles in Quality Management at companies like De La Rue Security Threads, BAE Systems, Ultra Electronics and Precision Polymer Engineering.
“The opportunity to join CMB Engineering was of great interest – not just because of the knowledge and experience I will bring to the role, but because of the company’s proud history of developing people throughout their careers,” Grogan explained. “My aim is to further enhance CMB Engineering’s excellent reputation for quality and service, working closely with an excellent team that is focussed on continuously improving the business.”
