Cognex: an essential element in intelligent manufacturing

“This time, we showcase our traditional connectors as well as the new connectors we developed in the last two years in order to meet the demand of the fast developing intelligent manufacturing in China,” Mr. Wu Jianhua, General Manager of the company said. “M12*1 power connectors, and M12*1 power sockets were introduced last year.” M12*1 sockets field attachable, IP67 D-SUB standard solid body slimline, D-SUB connectors with snaplock, D-SUB hood with snaplock and DT-connectors.

Al l the Cognex connectors have their uniqueness. For example, M12*1 sockets field attachable enable customers to install the socket housing and terminal from the front side of the machine (outside) and the possibility to connect from inside (integrated installation). The compact design for small application space provides flexible connection to equipment. And the self-locking system applied in D-SUB connector and the housing simplifies the installation of the connector and its housing. The clear “tick” makes sure the self-locking system works even it’s not observable.
