Colines in Vietnam's stretch film market

Vietnam is considered one of the fast-emerging market for stretch films, posting constantly growing rate and optimistic forecasts in the next few years. This positive scenario has not escaped Colines® as it keeps an active and important role in this market, thanks to its cooperation with Vietnam-based company Ky-Phat. 

 

A few months ago the company based in Ho Chi Minh City started the brand new “ALLrollEX 1500” 5-layer cast line for stretch film production made by COLINES® and the Ky-Phat business is growing bigger and bigger, as well as their satisfaction for the line quality standards. This is the first high performance cast line dedicated to stretch films installed in Vietnam.

 

 

The new line can produce hand, machine and jumbo reels and is specially dedicated to the production of cling film for food applications; with the formulations supplied by the COLINES® R&D department Ky-Phat can widen its market and export its PE cling film to the USA. Also, the ALLrollEX cast lines are studied to reduce the energy consumption and permit to reduce the kW/kg consumption ratio.
