Formulated using the latest generation carrier systems, ColorMatrix liquid dispersions incorporate more effectively into the polymer achieving higher quality, more consistent colour distribution and superior aesthetic characteristics.
Highly accurate dosing can be achieved - down to addition rates as low as 0.001% - when these liquid technologies are metered with the Company’s state-of-the-art volumetric dosing equipment, improving inventory control and reducing waste. Processors can improve sustainability and cost efficiency with higher letdown ratios that require less colorant or additive, minimising raw material consumption while enabling smoother and more efficient processing. Liquid colour formulations and customised dosing equipment are designed to facilitate quick, simple colour changes that minimise machine downtime.
ColorMatrix has focused more recently on improving its rapid colour development capability. The DosiXpress? Color Matching Cell is able to help customers streamline product development and speed up commercialization. With this innovative system a hand-held spectrophotometer is used to perform an instant colour match and produce a sample for trials or a small production run in a matter of minutes. This simpler, leaner process reduces the resource traditionally required to create, test, approve and implement a colour into the manufacturing process.
ColorMatrix also boasts a suite of additive technologies, including oxygen scavengers, UV light barriers, reheat agents and acetaldehyde reducers that extend shelf-life, enable lightweighting and contribute to long-term recyclability.
