The 1.5 million square feet facility aims to meet the growing demand of steel in the region and beyond.
Commenting on the new modifications, Mr. Bharat Bhatia, CEO and Managing Director, Conares, said: “We are pleased to announce the production of 40 mm rebar at our facility in JAFZA. With the growing demand of steel in the market, we aim to produce and provide the highest quality of steel that would benefit our customers’ requirements.”
Conares also operates pipe plant (180 000 mt) with galvanizing line (36 000 mt), which produces 5,000-6,000 tonnes of black and 3,000 tonnes of galvanized pipes monthly, which is an optimal level considering market demand and existing facilities in the region.

Conares is currently operating a tube mill at its facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone to manufacture Pipes & Tubes (circular, square & rectangular) with a rated capacity of 180,000 tons per annum in size sange 1/2" - 4") and galvanizing line of 36 000 mt.
Conares also operates an 80 ton / hr debar mill of estimated capacity of 500,000 tons per annum. The facility produces debar from 8mm dia to 40 mm dia for commercial production.
