Constantia acquires majority of Parikh Packaging

CONSTANTIA Flexibles has strengthened its position in India after acquiring 60% of Parikh Packaging, a one-stop provider of flexible packaging materials to the food and non-food industries. Operating in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat, north of Mumbai, Parikh has sales of €22 million and 500 employees. Under the agreement, it keeps the remaining 40% shares.

Based in Austria, Constantia is a leading packaging company servicing the food, pet food, pharmaceutical and beverage industries. Earlier this year, it acquired Globalpack in Mexico and Spear in the United States.
