?Hong Kong medical authorities continue to monitor the latest developments of the disease

HONG KONG -- The Department of Health said it is monitoring an additional case of Severe Respiratory Disease associated with Novel Coronavirus, reported to the World Health Organisation by Saudi Arabia.

The latest case is a contact of the 15th case announced by the WHO on March 12. The patient has been discharged from hospital.
This case brings the global total number of confirmed cases to 16, of which nine are from Saudi Arabia. Of these cases, nine victims have since died including six deaths in Saudi Arabia.

No human infection with this virus has so far been identified in Hong Kong, the department said.
