The trade event will also feature trends in active and functional ingredients while showcasing developments in the global personal care ingredients market

REFLECTING global trends in the personal care ingredients industry, in-cosmetics Asia 2015 will have the overall theme of Natural and Organic.

A new show feature, Super Product Trail, will guide visitors to 20 innovative natural and organic ingredients, making it easy to target suppliers and maximize their time at the show. Organic Monitor will run two natural and organic workshop sessions. The program will also include dedicated presentations on market trends and an exclusive roundtable debate with some of the industry’s leading players. These will be supplemented by an informative trend report on the global natural and organic market that all registered visitors can download for free.

This year’s show, which will run from November 3 to 5 in Bangkok, is expected to gather together more than 400 exhibitors. Leading companies such as Ashland, DSM, Evonik, Clariant, and Lonza, and forward-thinking SMEs such as Ichimaru Pharcos (Japan), BST (South Korea), and H&A Pharmachem (South Korea) will present their latest innovations. New exhibitors include Wha Costech (South Korea), Ungerer Fragrance & Flavour Co. Ltd (China), and KBH Polymers Pvt Ltd (India).

Trends in active and functional ingredients will be highlighted at the Innovation Zone. Visitors looking for innovative ingredients for anti-ageing, skin whitening, and UV filters can also leverage the Product Trails to search the show floor.

The China Country Focus will feature exhibitors from the country, a Product Trail zone, and market presentations from leading experts.

The show’s free education program comprises marketing trends presentations, innovation seminars, and regulatory presentations, all of which involve leading experts and research companies, and can help visitors understand the market better and identify future opportunities. Sessions will cover multifunction ingredients, 3D printing for cosmetics, and regulations. Insights on the Korea and China markets will also be discussed.

The popular Formulation Lab, which was introduced last year, will cater exclusively to R&D professionals and formulators at the show.

The cosmetics and toiletries sector in Asia is predicted by Euromonitor International to account for 28% of the global market this year. According to in-cosmetics Asia exhibition director Sarah Gibson, “As a recognized hub for innovation, Asia is at the forefront of global trends that drive consumer demand and in-cosmetics Asia has a history of cultivating the region’s innovative ideas. It is the perfect platform for businesses to showcase their innovation and expertise, and for beauty and personal care players to share their insight and learnings.”
