Providing high flexibility and performance, Crownloc Plus offers substantial benefits in terms of both productivity and cost effectiveness. Achieving excellent chip evacuation and wear resistance, Crownloc Plus drills incorporate an exchangeable-tip system that eliminates the need to replace an entire tool. Instead, when the cutting edge becomes worn, the user simply removes and replaces the tip of the tool with the Crownloc Plus wrench. A secure locking interface maintains high stability while allowing the exchange process to be quick and easy. The system’s unique approach minimises tool inventory requirements while offering exceptional cutting performance.
Crownloc Plus drill bodies contain deep and wide flutes that optimise chip evacuation and contribute to a long tool life. The cutting head tips incorporate optimised geometries and a TiAlN coating to boost performance and wear resistance.
Available in diameters ranging from 12.00 – 19.99 mm (.47’’ – .787’’), Crownloc Plus drills are available in 3xD and 5xD options in addtion to the new 8xD models. The tools can be incorporated with Weldon, hydraulic chuck and shrinkfit toolholders.
