CROWN Aerosols and Speciality Packaging Europe, a business unit of Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) is recognised for its designs for beverage and confectionery brands, during the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Starpack Awards 2014 held in London, UK.
The company received the gold award in the Best Branded Pack – Single Pack category for a metal packaging made for Bruichladdich Black Art Scotch whisky. The winning piece is a round three-piece tin with design that represents the values of the brand. The eye-catching portion of the packaging is a delicate embossing and gold imagery and matte and gloss varnish.
In the same category, Crown was awarded the silver for packaging Fox’s Chocolatey Biscuit Selection, and Bruichladdich Octomore Ochdamh-mòr whisky.
The metal packaging leader also garnered a bronze award in the Best Branded Pack – A Range of Packs category for its design for the Inchmurrin single malt whisky collection. Its Bruichladdich Black Art Scotch whisky container was also honoured with the WorldStar Award in the Beverages category.
