At second, third and fourth places were Japan, the United States and India with 101.224 million tons, 79.79 million tons and 72.33 million tons respectively, the report said.
In Nov., Iran produced 1.375 million tons of crude steel, which is 12.5 percent higher than the corresponding figure of last year, which was 1.22 million tons.
Global steel production in November amounted to 127.36 million tons, which shows a 5-percent decline compared with the October output that reached 34.07 million tons.
WSA is the international trade body of the iron and steel industry. The association represents approximately 170 steel producers, including 17 of the world's 20 largest steel companies, national and regional steel industry associations and steel research institutes.
Its members constitute around 85 percent of world steel production.
