DAFZA set to attract more Korean companies

In pursuit of its mission to deepen trade relations between the UAE and Korea, Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) recently organized a networking seminar in Seoul, South Korea. The seminar was aimed at further strengthening relations with South Korean investors, and providing information on the highly advanced and modern facilities on offer at the Freezone, highlighting the way in which Korean companies can have unrivalled access to the facilities and services that can help them meet their strategic investment goals.

The UAE is the largest commercial partner for Korea in the Middle East with a trade volume amounting to about US$23 billion (Dhs83 billion), while Korea is one of UAE's largest investor in commodities and services in IT, automotive, contracting, and energy. The drive to attract global trade partnerships has seen the premier Freezone collaborate with key South Korean and UAE organizations like the Middle East Business Association (MEBA), Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), among others.
