DANA commissions heavy plate coil service centre at Ajman

DANA Steel Processing Industries LLC is in process of commissioning a new steel oil service centre in its Ajman branch .This is in addition to an existing steel coil service centre in Dubai. Now, DANA will have two coil service centres, one in Dubai and other in Ajman. These are two strategic locations through which DANA serves entire UAE and GCC markets. Heavy fabrication job works shall be catered through new service centre.

The new cut to length line will be able to process steel coils of maximum 40 MT in  weight, in a thickness range of 5mm to 20mm, in coil width of 800mm to 2,000mm and of all grades including commercial, shipbuilding and high tensile. This enhances DANA's capability of servicing coils. DANA has built capabilities to serve 0.5mm to 20mm thickness steel coils. DANA Steel stated that this is one of the most modern cut to length lines in the region capable of handling heavy and wide coils. The production capacity of the line is about 15,000 metric tonnes per month.
