Del Monte Favourite Juice brand in the UAE

DEL MONTE was named the Favourite Juice brand in the United Arab Emirates for 2014 by the BBC Good Food Middle East Awards, held last January 28 at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai.

The winners of the awards, which covered a variety of categories from juices to casual restaurants, bars, cafes, and even fine dining, were selected by food enthusiasts and readers of BBC Good Food Middle East. Del Monte bested Al Marai, Al Rawabi, and Barakat in the category.

Del Monte offers convenient and healthy eating solutions, including a slew of “on the go" fruit and vegetable snacks and fruit-based desserts, as part of its initiative titled "Eat Healthy, Live Healthy."  

Del Monte Ultra Fresh Juices are 100% freshly squeezed and bottled daily, and are said to be free from additives, preservatives, and artificial colours or flavours. The products are prepared in state-of-the-art facilities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and are safely sealed in a convenient bottle for ultimate taste and nourishment. Del Monte’s social responsibility programme covers the promotion of the benefits of consuming five fruits and vegetables a day per World Health Organisation (WHO) recommendation. One 200 ml glass of Del Monte juice is equivalent to one portion of the daily 5-A-Day intake as stated on the company’s ultra-fresh juices.
