Good-to-man picking station is a new order fulfillment system, with speed of 1800 picking items/hour. The picking stations can be configured based on the customer business needs. When GTP picking station works together with Dematic Multishuttle, the performance is outstanding. Australia Blackwoods integrated Dematic Multishuttle Gen II to handle tote goods as first goods to person system in Australia. This system accommodates over 20000 tote positions in 2 aisles with 25 layers of rackings, and handles over 30000 SKUs with speed of 1000 tote goods to good-to-person picking stations. The first GTP system helps solve the big challenge of increasing numbers of SKUs. The flexible solutions helps achieve the highly accurate picking rate, and preserve the additional space for 50% storage volume and GTP stations for future expansion.
