Barry-Wehmiller Design Group said that it is expanding its Northwest operations and relocating to larger offices in Portland, Oregon. The Design Group Portland office specialises in 3D/BIM design and detailing, mechanical engineering, instrumentation and controls, electrical engineering, process engineering, project management, and facility services for a variety of industrial applications.
“We are very pleased with the growth of our Portland organisation over the last several years, leading to this larger office presence,” stated James Gill, Design Group regional director. “Our larger operation provides us with the means for continued expansion to better serve our clients in the Portland area.” Mr Gill added, “Design Group now has over 750 engineers and technical professionals across the U.S., and our expanded Portland office demonstrates Design Group’s ongoing commitment to attract exceptional technical competencies into the firm.”
