The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) has recognised Detectamet Limited as the company of the year for 2013 with less than 100 employees. This award is a major milestone for the company as it marks its 10th anniversary.
“To be recognised by this respected independent body of food safety specialists in the UK food industry is a great honour,” said Angela Musson, Detectamet’s managing director. “We invited our guests to the SOFHT lecture and lunch to help us celebrate our ten years in business and this award was the icing on the celebratory cake.”
The presentation of the award to the Company of the Year with less than 100 employees was carried out by Professor Hugh Pennington who had given the Society’s annual lecture. It took place last Thursday at The Landmark Hotel London.
