LABORATORY tests on Biosenta Inc.’s new disinfectant prove it is effective in killing 100% of potentially deadly molds and fungi, bacteria, and viruses on hard surfaces. This is based on the company’s recent update on the independent laboratory research testing on the physical/chemical properties and efficacy of its most advanced household disinfectant.
The new advanced disinfectant, which has yet to be named, adopts advanced nanotechnology to create compounds with a markedly lower concentration of active ingredients. This results in lower toxicity, which renders the disinfectant safe to use in the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas.
Reports from the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) said the new disinfectant will kill Ebola and Enterovirus D68. This is based on laboratory tests proving new disinfectant kills the Polio virus, which has a cell structure that is very similar to Ebola and Enterovirus D68.
Tests on additional bacteria and viruses, which are expected to demonstrate the disinfectant’s capability in killing 100% of these microbes, will be completed in mid-December.
Biosenta will provide a detailed update on the testing in January 2015. According to president and CEO Dene Rogers, the new disinfectant represents the future of disinfectants and cleaners because it is both powerful yet safe to use.
Once the disinfectant has been approved in the U.S. and Canada, the firm will release other similar products such as a hand sanitizer and wipes.
