DMG MORI appoints Dr Rothenberger to supervisory board

BIELEFELD, Germany - Dr Helmut Rothenberger has been appointed to the supervisory board of DMG MORI SEIKI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT by decision of the Local Court of Bielefeld February 4. He succeeds Hans Henning Offen.

After completing his studies in law in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, Dr Helmut Rothenberger (64) joined the family-owned manufacturing company. From 1985 to 2013 he was the chairman of the management board of ROTHENBERGER AG, a globally-operating manufacturer of pipe tools and machines, and subsequently moved to the Supervisory Board as chairman. Effective January 1, 2014, he took over as chief executive officer at his family’s holding company. The internationally-experienced entrepreneur takes up his position on the supervisory board of DMG MORI SEIKI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT with immediate effect.
