Molecor donated 12km of TOM PVC-O pipes and ecoFITTOM fittings to rebuild Turkey's water supply network after the earthquakes. TOM PVC-O pipes are high-pressure, impact-resistant, and watertight. ecoFITTOM fittings use fewer raw materials and energy, are recyclable, and are the first in the world to be made of PVC-O.

The devastating earthquakes that have hit the south of Turkey since February 6th, with magnitudes of up to 7.7 on the Richter scale, have caused significant damage to the region's infrastructure and population. The immediate response from countries, institutions, companies, and volunteers has been to help rebuild the area as quickly as possible. One company that has stepped forward to contribute to the recovery efforts is Molecor.

Molecor is a company that specializes in manufacturing piping and sanitation products. In response to the earthquakes, Molecor has donated more than 12km of PVC-O TOM® pipes and ecoFITTOM® fittings to repair and install drinking water supply networks. This contribution will help the country recover access to water, a basic necessity crucial to the region's recovery.

The TOM® PVC-O pipes are developed with Molecor's innovative technology, providing the highest Molecular Orientation. The manufacturing process is continuous and completely automatic, which ensures maximum product reliability and quality control tube-to-tube for 100% of the production. These pipes are an excellent solution for conveying water at medium and high pressure for irrigation systems, drinking water supply, reuse, and industrial or fire protection lines, among other uses.

Molecor's advanced manufacturing system confers the TOM® Oriented PVC pipe significant improvements, making them ideal for the transportation of water under pressure. These improvements include higher hydrostatic resistance, higher resistance to impact, and complete water tightness, making them highly effective in providing water supply solutions.

Molecor has also developed an exclusive and highly efficient industrial system for manufacturing PVC-O fittings, leading to the creation of ecoFITTOM®, the first fittings in the world in PVC-O. These fittings present excellent improvements in the mechanical properties of PVC, allowing for less raw material and energy consumption and higher resistance to impact and water hammer. Additionally, the ecoFITTOM® fittings are 100% recyclable, making them an eco-friendly solution for water transportation.

With ecoFITTOM®, Molecor offers a continuous system in PVC-O, providing the same hydraulic and mechanical properties in the different elements of the network, in the pipes as well as in the fittings. This ensures total water quality and an important reduction of the water hammer effect.

Molecor's donation of these pipes and fittings to Turkey is a significant gesture of support toward the recovery efforts in the affected areas. It demonstrates the company's commitment to the environment and the community by providing eco-friendly solutions that contribute to restoring basic services.

The urgent need for water supply in the affected areas requires the collective efforts of everyone. The contribution made by Molecor will significantly impact the recovery efforts and assist in restoring basic services to the population. It is heartening to see companies such as Molecor stepping up to support those in need during such difficult times.
