Dormer indexable cutting tools now in the Philippines

BASED in Laguna, Techline will become the exclusive distributor of the Pramet range in the country.

Techline managing director Ronald Reside founded the company six years ago to initially supply machine tools in the Philippines. Its current partners include DMG MORI, Qualichem Cutting Fluid, Mastercam software and Baykal Press Brakes.

Dormer Pramet offers a comprehensive product programme which encompasses its Dormer rotary range and Pramet indexable tooling for a wide variety of drilling, milling, threading and turning applications.
 
It already has an established reputation for its Dormer brand of rotary products in the Philippines, but is now expanding its offer to customers through Techline with the new line of indexable cutting tools.

“It is the first time that Pramet products will be available in the Philippines and we will now be able to offer existing and future customers the complete package of both rotary and indexable tooling to meet their needs.”

To mark the introduction of the Pramet brand and products to the Philippines, Techline and Dormer Pramet recently organised an open house event in Manila.  A programme of live demonstrations and presentations ran throughout the day to showcase a number of Pramet cutting tools, their benefits and capabilities.  

As part of the new deal, Techline will be supported by Christian Pouilly, Dormer Pramet Director Asia Pacific and Bob Fang, application specialist at Dormer Pramet China - both of whom attended the open house event.
