Dormer Pramet sets up new export division

DORMER Pramet has recently set up a new export division, Dormer Pramet International, to expand sales of rotary and indexable tooling globally.  

 

An amalgamation of Dormer Tools International and Pramet’s Rest of the World Sales arm, Dormer Pramet International will manage the company’s export operations in markets without a locally based sales unit. It will be led by export sales director John Eustace.

 

The division, created following the merger of the rotary tools manufacturer and indexable specialist last year, will oversee the delivery of products and services to more than 35 different markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Caribbean, and parts of Europe. Each market has an expansive network of established distributors and agents. 

 

Dormer Pramet’s sales units in the UK and Czech Republic will share the responsibility for the markets. Export manager Jiøí Diviš will assist global operations through operations from Sumperk.

According to Mr. Eustace, the establishment of Dormer Pramet International is a culmination of previous export divisions brought together into one coordinated and managed operation. 

 

“Both Dormer and Pramet have developed successful export operations over many years and we will be looking to enhance this further as we expand our reach and tooling offer to the general engineering sector across numerous continents.  From the customer’s point of view they will continue to see the same reliability in performance and delivery of products and services as they always have. But now they will have access to a wide assortment of both rotary and indexable tooling,” he stated. 

 

Mr. Diviš said, “The coming together is a significant development in ensuring we speak as one voice in all our exporting activities around the world. It will mean customers receive a single invoice when dealing with us, regardless of whether they order Dormer or Pramet branded products. This will simplify the process for customers and make it as easy as possible for all markets to import our comprehensive range of products.”
