Dow Asia Pacific Pack Studios in Shanghai

The Dow Chemical Company launched its Pack Studios Shanghai, one of four regional innovation centres that provides Dow customers an opportunity to collaborate and leverage Dow’s technical expertise, broad product portfolio, and application testing capabilities to accelerate the development of packaging solutions. Located in Shanghai Dow Center, Pack Studios Shanghai will serve as the innovation platform for the packaging value chain to enable collaborative innovation that accelerates the development of packaging solutions. By combining the technical expertise and laboratory facilities in Shanghai with the capabilities of the Dow Singapore Development Centre as well as the ability to access a global network of industry experts, Dow provides customers in Asia Pacific a unique and advantageous opportunity to bring new packaging applications faster to market.

To date, there are four Pack Studios locations – Freeport, Texas; Horgen, Switzerland; Sáo Paulo, Brazil; and Shanghai, China. Each centre features a collaboration room, laboratory facilities and fabrication and testing equipment, providing a forum where customers can collaborate with a dedicated Dow technical team and an external network of industry professionals.
