Dr. Jack Truong joins Husky as President and COO

Husky Injection Molding System announced the appointment of Dr. Jack Truong as President and Chief Operating Office effective February 1, 2016. Dr. Truong was previously the President and CEO of Electrolux North America and Executive Vice President, AB Electrolux Group.

 

According to John Galt, Chief Executive Officer at Husky, Dr. Truong's  global multisector experience and history of delivering strong growth in a challenging environment are key attributes for this role. Mr. Galt added that in his role, Dr. Truong will have full oversight for the day-to-day operations of the business, and leadership responsibility for executing on Husky’s strategy and priorities.

 

Prior to Electrolux, Dr. Truong had a successful 22 year career at 3M where he held senior leadership roles throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Dr. Truong holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
