Dubai exec graces opening of aluminium show

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of finance, has opened the exhibition of Aluminium Dubai 2009. Schmidt + Clemens (S+C) of Lindlar / Germany, a manufacturer of high-grade extrusion press tools, was one of its exhibitors. The subsidiary S+C Marker GmbH has highlighted its multiple products in the event. Having the hallmark, "Made in Germany," S+C Marker has been stationed at the German pavilion. On display are extrusion press tools for the aluminium industry. Al Maktoum''s presence was a special honour for the high - grade steel specialist. In a talk with Olaf Mueller, head of the extrusion press division, Maktoum''s got the chance to see S+C Marker''s special tools and was impressed by the German technology. "The UAE is located in a productive economic region," said Lars Niemczewski, head of marketing of the S+C Group.
