NEXT to London, Dubai placed second as the most important retail destination for international brands in 2012, according to commercial real estate services and investment firm, CBRE. One of the world’s most modern cities, Dubai also ranks fifth as top target market, based on the number of retailers that entered in 2012. Aiming to maintain its status as a regional hub for tourism, Dubai recorded 10 million visitors in 2012, and targets to double the figure by 2020. This according to CBRE is attracting more retailers, especially from the United States, to take their business to this bustling city.
